For Florence Welch, clothes are her armor
"I would just love a suit of armor, chain mail, maybe," says Welch, any kidding gone from her soft voice. "I'd like a full Joan of Arc costume. Or perhaps some fitted suits but with flared bottoms and cuffs and tight sleeves and a ruffly blouse and a nice hat. Yeah, I've got a few ideas."
Welch has fast emerged as a style icon, recently strutting down Chanel's runway — after emerging from a giant white clam shell — at Paris Fashion Week. Her passion for "dress-up" stems from her childhood and began flowering when she first gained a modicum of success.
"We'd be touring, and each get a tenner (10 pounds, or around $16) as a per diem for food, but of course I never spent it on food. I'd always go to a vintage clothing store and shop for my next stage costume," she says, smiling at the memory.
The fact that these days she can call up just about any designer for her next look still leaves the singer flustered.

When I booked my trip to Reno, NV in Feb 26 – Mar 4 2009 , I was looking for a beanie cap to purchase to use as head cover while over there during the cold late winter season. I stumbled across this product and and thought what a great value for something I needed. So I purchased this and was very impressed with the feel, comfort, and style that this beanie visor offered. I used this beanie visor almost the entire trip as the black color matched virtually every outfit that I had. The beanie felt really good on my head (which i think is about 7 1/2 or 7 5/8 cap size) and it still had a little wiggle room so it was not tight at all. The main reason I wanted this cap was to keep my head warm. Let me tell you that the cotton fibers that this product is made of really felt comfortable and indeed kept my head warm even when the temperatures dipped into the 20′s.
The cuff on the beanie part is barely noticeable as it blends in with the top. The visor part was sturdy enough to keep its shape and not flake out....
