Great All-Purpose Kneepads
I purchased the Alta Superflex Knee Pads with the non-velcro "Altalok" buckle (featured in the photo). The packaging states clearly "not intended for athletic applications", but I could see it being used in outdoor sporting activities (the reason for my initial purchase). After adjusting and... -

I understand that these are the same pads that the military uses. After some marathon caving I can understand why. I might not have knees any more if these bad boys weren't there. I also love the rubber caps over hard plastic, stiff fabric, or other alternatives.

Baseball style caps are big, as are the shorter billed squarer military style caps. Western hats are cool mostly in the West and South, in Australia they wear giant floppies. I notice teeny weeny fedoras with itsy bitsy brims are in. Why?
It's more of a fashion statement than shading issue. Lots of people wear hats with brims paired with sunglasses. I'm not that big into hats, mostly because I can't sport one without looking odd. (Yes, I am jealous.

Agree with everything, well - except for the condoms; may I suggest something else too: that kind of people, instead of getting their own state in our country (I am an immigrant too, but I love Australia) to build their own ghetto, get their own ship to sail to a destination

Panetta: US at 'turning point,' to refocus on Asia
(AP) TOKYO — The winding down of wars in Iraq and Afghanistan marks a pivot point for the U.S. military, which must now focus on looming threats such as the rising military might of China, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said Monday.
Panetta used his first visit to Japan as Pentagon chief to sound an emerging theme of the Obama administration: America will remain a global economic and military power despite coming budget reductions, and the Asia-Pacific region will be central to U.S. national security strategy.
In a question-and-answer session with U.S. and Japanese troops at Yokota Air Base, Panetta ticked off a list of threats that he said demand more U.S. attention as it completes its departure from Iraq this year and targets 2014 for the withdrawal of combat forces from Afghanistan.

Postage listed is for Australian addresses only. For International destinations, postage is AU$4.50. Our postal service is pretty reliable. I have no preference for shipping method. Warning. If you want registered mail and/or postage outside Australia, our postal authorities only do this for parcels, not letter class items, and the rates are a lot higher (but still reasonable, compared to US, UK, and many European Countries postal services). Preferred method of payment is by direct deposit, for Australian buyers. Buyers using PayPal payments must cover PayPal charges (2.4% + AU$0.30). If you win multiple auctions, combined postage costs will apply. This will be significantly cheaper per item.
