Beanie, boater, busby, deerstalker, kepi, montera, salakot, slouch, toque, ushanka, and many more names that you may call; here are hats around the world. Its first function is to cover the head. It has experienced meaning shifting throughout the years. They were once indicating a social status and now becoming a fashion. Relating them to fashion, many experts say that they will bold and complete the outfits wore. This is proven by a bunch of Hollywood artists who wore them as a part of their style. You can name Kate Moss and Keira Knightly who turn out to be hats supporters. There are three modern styles that are happening in today’s styles, i.e. Fedora, Trilby, and Panama. There are no significant differences between those three styles, yet you can still find a different atmosphere each of it creates.

Fedora is used by both men and women. Masculinity is what it brings from the very beginning. When we look back through the history, such a style used to accompany every detective outfit. Such hats were once popular in the late 20th century and find its fall. However, because of today’s ‘boyfriend style’ it comes up in the air and is becoming popular and favorite for many people. Trilby looks similar with Fedora and you can see that this style is frequently worn by top artist like Justin Timberlake, Victoria Beckham, and Lindsay Lohan. Trilby ones have a higher brim than Fedora but share the same practicality. Some sources said that trilby brings a jazzy atmosphere since it was first popular with jazz and souls musicians back in 1950s. The panama, on the other hand, gives you a more feminine atmosphere. Panama hats come from the tropical land of South America. They are made of straw to give you a classic sense but are still stylish and give a deep look for any completing outfit. You can wear them plainly as their original shape or added by some appropriate and not too much decoration, we can create to add the style and strengthen the sentence of our style. Besides, they way we wear those accessories will also influence how people will infer us through our style. You may add like narrow veils in it as a sun block or merely to give the sense of lady-like as what President Kennedy’s wife usually wore. Alternatively, you may add some custom ribbon with various widths and color to make a contrast and support your style. Some hats, like the panama, are even decorated with some feathers, which then add up the tropical sense. To emphasize like a summer look atmosphere, you may decorate it with the type of Easter’s basket in which you decorate it with flowers instead of only use it plainly. There are even some stylists who decorate the hats with tropical fruits and additional ribbon to make the arrangement more beautiful....
