Vintage 1950s Christys grey fur felt trilby hat s 6 5/8 | Old Hats

From a Gentleman's estate in Cheshire England I have a fine collection of vintage hats for sale on ebay this week. These hats have all be carefully stored and are in fine condition. Quality items from a Gentleman of substance. A vintage 1950s trilby hat. The colour is dark blue grey with a black hat ribbon. The hat has a narrow brim and a black silk ribbon. There is makers label for Christys of London made in England for Eatons Menwear and has the original price tag of 37/6 then reduced to 19/11 ( this is less than £1) Inside the hat has a brown leather hat band with the makers crest and the size is marked 6 5/8. Size 55cm - this is size 6 5/8 in a UK hat size - a small head size - inner circumference is 55cm. In excellent condition - no breaks - no marks or wear spots. The inner hat is clean with no marks on the inner lining . This is a fine quality trilby hat - great for any outdoor event - ideal for 1960s party or Blues Brothers Event.
