Kangol x D*Face Hats Holiday 2011 | Urban-Gear

Kangol continues to work with artist D*Face and presents for Holiday 2011 two new hats. The release features two felted wool bowler hats – The Stockton and The City Riot. Both hats come loaded with extra features including D*Face Brain Artwork print on the satin lining, a metal crossed wing pin on the cross piece and a punk style D*Face pin badge. The City Riot comes with a soft cotton print bandana that can be worn as a smile or a frown. Both hats are beautifully presented in a custom matt black hat box and come of course as a limited edition. Look out for a release later this month at Hanon.

Yet another pack is available from Supra for Holiday 2011. The new “Work Pack” is inspired by classic workwear lines and features the Cuban, Thunder Low, and Thunder, all done up in heavy duty twill.  All three pairs sport white midsoles along with red and yellow detailing on the heel tab and outsole....

Travels With A Trilby: Hong Kong

I emerged, blinking into Hong Kong a few hours after I wrote the last blog. As I shouldered my bags and navigated the airport (no easy feat) and got on the bus to Kowloon. Then got thrown off the bus as I’d neglected to buy a ticket – they don’t accept cash. Turns out I’d missed the tiny 4x4ft box containing a crushed looking woman you buy tickets from. Silly me. I emerged later to pick up some noodles, and then returned. It had been a long day, I began at 6am in Bangkok, and had been travelling since then. The first night was spent just relaxing. The second day I decided to be more adventurous. I did a complete walking tour of Kowloon (for those that don’t know, Kowloon is the island above Hong Kong). It started with me walking up to the Flower Market, about three streets given to stalls and stalls of flowers, as well as a surprising amount of shops.  From there I found a massive shopping mall, selling...
